Seven policemen and a civilian were killed by terrorists in Gwaram Local Government Area of Kano early Thursday morning.
The Nation reports that the attackers numbering about 200 invaded the town at about 1am, blew up the police station, touched a bank and the Shariah court.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Tambari Yabo has confirmed the incident.
